Christian recording artist, worship leader, and singer/songwriter recently shared on social media the news that he is working on a new studio album. Launching right around December 14, his Kickstarter campaign for the album has already raised nearly $2,400, with three days left to go.
On Wednesday, Voss released a snippet of a song he’s been working on, which talks “about letting go and letting the Lord do what only He can.”
While no song or album titles have been released, Voss on Friday did share a little bit about the project saying, “This new album I’m working on is different for me. It’s not the Sunday morning ‘hype you up for a worship experience’ type of project (Not shooting that kind of thing down, it is also important).”
Voss goes on to further share, “This album is a response of worship to pain, processing, and questions when life hits you hard. It’s coming from a deep place. I’ve been nervous because it’s something new that I’ve never done before. While I am praying that it helps people…I have to say it is already helping me and it is something I’m doing unto the Lord. I want to encourage you if you’re in a season where things are new and different… it’s okay to feel afraid. You can do this. You are made for this time. Do it afraid.”
Apostles That Rock will stay on top of Corey Voss’s upcoming album and will update you on our website and on Facebook over the next several weeks and months.
